Jack of all trades cutting plotter

Cutting plotters are not a new invention. And certain industries (graphic design and advertising, textile and fashion industry) have been using the possibilities of cutting plotters for a long time. However, the possible applications of this "Swiss army knife" of die-cutting technology are considerably more diverse.

The cutting plotters from CMC Maschinenbau are therefore not specialized for a specific industry. Instead, they offer the greatest possible flexibility in order to be able to cut all types of materials precisely and quickly. In addition, CMC Maschinenbau's cutting plotters are semi-automated. This means that they can be integrated into a production network within a company. They are operated using easy-to-learn software and a touchscreen for on-site operation.

If required, cutting heads with drag knives (inexpensive, fast), tangential knives (precise, sharp corners, somewhat slower) or oscillating knives (for very soft or hard materials) can be used. Vacuum fixing and automatic material transport are further advantages of the cutting plotters from CMC Maschinenbau.

Compared to laser plotters, cutting plotters are also able to cut materials such as PTFE, PVF or PVC cleanly, as no aggressive gases are produced during the cutting process. No extraction is required and the maintenance effort is comparatively low.

  • Cutting plotters can cut a wide range of materials, including paper, cardboard, film, vinyl, textiles and leather.
  • They can be used in product development to very quickly implement changes in product designs (e.g. packaging or textile applications)
  • More universal applications such as laser plotters, reciprocating or rotary die-cutters
  • Cutting plotters can be automated, making them suitable for series production. In many cases, this improves the efficiency and productivity of manufacturing processes.

CMC Maschinenbau offers the entire spectrum from simple rewinding and slitting machines, automatic slitting machines, reciprocating and rotary die-cutters to printing systems.
